How To Set A Password In Bios

  • Close all the open applications and restart your computer.
  • To get in the BIOS setup, Press F2 or Del key to enter setup
  • Goto Security Option
  • To get to the “Supervisor Password” option scroll down through the “Security” options tapping the down arrow key and hit “Enter” once you get the option.

Enter password in the text box that appears on the screen. The password could be anything of your choice. Hit “Enter” to confirm password

 

 

How to Create Password in Windows XP, 2007

Open Run Dialog box type lusrmgr.msc

  • In the coming Local Users and Groups screen, double-click Local Users and Groups, and then click Users
  • Right-click the account that you need to reset the password for, and then click Set Password


 

Type and confirm the new password

Open Run Dialog box type syskey

Click on Update

Click on Password   Startup and Type your Password
